I started my career as an instructor at CMU & Berkeley and have carried that over to my work, and I really enjoy coaching and mentorship.
As a manager, my responsibility is to be a 'roadblock remover.' I work across discipline to resolve issues and provide clarity and enable my teams to focus on the highest impact work.
As an IC, I love difficult problems. I enjoy working closely with research to find user problems, and build from there.
In my free time, I teach and create pottery. I'm currently working on making a sink for our guest bathroom (it's harder than it seemed).
